streets of porto

gear acquisiton syndrome - every photographer knows this phenomenon. i'm very happy with my current equipment, but since its launch in july 2024, the leica d-lux 8 caught my attention. i even went to the store in frankfurt to try out the camera. but so far it has been very difficult to get hold of the camera - sold out everywhere.

in the days before our trip to the douro valley in november, i checked the availability of the camera at the leica store in porto - rather by accident - and bingo, it was for sale. so i reserved one and immediately after we landed, we drove into the city center and i bought the camera. after a few days in the douro valley, we returned to porto, where i tried out the camera while exploring the city.
