summer in the city

My hometown - especially the industrial area - underwent a fundamental transformation over the past ten+ years. Even though it wasn't the most beautiful part of the city, summer unfolded a certain prettiness.

On a day in August 2009 I took the chance of a beautiful summer eventing, packed my photography equipment and strolled through the harbour area of Offenbach. Today, this part of the city is a newly created residential area; Certainly a nice place to live but not with this kind of industrial charm any more. Cities are changing which is good but it’s also nice to see how they were in former times.
