Looking at these pictures while Corona it feels a little bit surreal: Crowded streets at night, people spending time at the river together eating and drinking. I remember these nights very well and Namba – the city’s entertainment area – was a spot that I visited almost every night. The not very familiar Japanese culture in general and all these people having a good time in particular exerted an enormous power of attraction – for me and my camera.
