ferropolis

A few years ago I went to Dessau because of Bauhaus. I wanted to learn more about it and see it with my own eyes. On the way there I made an interesting discovery.

A few kilometers away from the Autobahn A9 is Ferropolis, an industrial heritage from the era of surface mining of the GDR. The most impressive components of this open air park are for sure the gigantic machines. But also the interior of the control center takes you back to another time. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t that good, but when in the area it’s worth going there.
