cold war berlin

For many years Berlin was one of the forward most cities of the cold war front line. After the fall of the Berlin Wall the last infrastructural witnesses of that era are about to disappear. At least in two of these places I was able to take pictures.

One of the two places is Teufelsberg Berlin, a former communications intercept station which is now an art gallery. A very photogenic place with a lot of concrete and graffiti especially when the weather conditions are great.

And the other place is Dreilinden, where Checkpoint Bravo was located.

What other remnants of the cold war era do you know in Berlin?
