We were spending a couple of days in Dubrovnik and explored Istria by car. One day on a road an abandoned gas station appeared.
Fortunately equipped with our cameras we stopped and jumped out of the car. It was a beautiful sunny day with almost no clouds and the blue sky matched perfectly with bright peeled off orange paint of the station that instantly reminded me of the 1970s. The station was already discovered by probably the local youths, who gave the station a new even more colorful painting.
It was a very nice unexpected discovery and this is why driving through a region is always a good opportunity for new photo motifs.
